The Bridesmaid’s Luncheon

The Bridesmaid’s luncheon is an opportunity for all the girls to get together one last time before the big day and it is the Brides way of saying Thank-you to the bridesmaids for all they have done during the planning of your big day. Think of the Bridesmaid’s luncheon as a small reward for work well done.

The date should be chosen after all the planning is in place and all decisions are made, a few days before the wedding date works well.

Traditionally the luncheon was just that – a lunch where the girls could get together in a relaxed environment to enjoy each others company.

Take this private time to present the girls in the wedding party with their Thank-you gifts.

Break from tradition…

With so many busy schedules it may be hard to pin everyone down to yet another afternoon celebration. As an alternative plan an event rather than a meal.

A day at a spa having toes and nails done does double duty and is a real relaxing event.

A round of golf is a great way to let off steam, even mini golf is a great tension releaser. A volleyball game followed by a BBQ is another great idea.
